French President Arrives in Riyadh on a Surprise “Solidarity” Visit

Al-Taj News – French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Riyadh on Wednesday in a surprise stop as part of his Gulf tour, where he will meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to show his country’s “solidarity” with Saudi Arabia in light of the escalation of Yemeni Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.

Macron arrived in Riyadh from Qatar. He is the first Western head of state to visit the Saudi capital since the escalation of attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis in early October.
