Syria Urges Its Citizens in Egypt: Carry Your Documents and Beware of Rumors

Al-Taj News – The Syrian Embassy in Cairo directed a set of warnings to members of the Syrian community in Egypt, during which it called on them to adhere to Egyptian laws, carry their official documents, and ensure their validity.

In an announcement addressed to the community members on Wednesday evening, the embassy warned against circulating unreliable information or dealing with intermediaries to book consular appointments.

The embassy expressed its appreciation for the Syrians’ adherence to Egyptian regulations and laws, emphasizing the importance of continuing this adherence in a manner that reflects a positive image of Syrian citizens and strengthens the brotherly relations between the two peoples.

It also stressed the necessity of obtaining information related to consular procedures, residency, and personal documents from accredited official sources only, and avoiding rumors and misleading information.
