Al-Taj News – The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced, on Saturday, the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The Coalition’s spokesman, Turki Al-Malki, said in a post on the “X” platform that air defenses intercepted the ballistic missile and destroyed it before achieving its objectives.
In a related context, an Agence France-Presse journalist reported hearing two explosions in the early hours of Saturday morning in Riyadh, following a warning from the Civil Defense that the Saudi capital was subject to a “hostile air attack.”
This came shortly after the Coalition announced the interception of a drone in the Eastern Province, amid the continued attacks launched by the Houthis on Saudi Arabia for three weeks, according to reports.
