Qatar’s Foreign Minister Points to a Solution to Address the Repercussions of the Iran War Earthquake and Its Aftershocks in the Region and the World

Al-Taj News – Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani affirmed that his country is a trusted partner in mediation and energy, calling for the building of sustainable security and an end to escalation.

The Qatari official said that our region had experienced what could only be described as an earthquake, and that the aftershocks of what happened had extended beyond our borders.

He added that what the region experienced put assumptions about security and stability to a real test, noting that all talks during the crisis began with security and then moved on to energy supplies and shipping.

The Qatari minister explained that diplomacy and economic stability are closely linked, as diplomacy protects the conditions that enable people to trade, invest, and plan.

He noted that they do not underestimate the state of uncertainty, but they will not allow short-term disruptions to determine their course. He affirmed that their financial system continued to operate and their companies continued their activities despite what happened, pointing out that energy is their source of strength, diversification is the source of their resilience, and technology is their future.

He stressed that Qatar will remain a committed partner in mediation, a reliable energy supplier, and an investment partner, and that they are working through diplomacy for the stability of the region, while through investment they are advancing reforms, strengthening their resilience, and creating opportunities for growth.
