Al-Taj News – Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya said on Monday that the security agencies arrested the three terrorists who carried out the terrorist operation in Karak Governorate, without any injuries among the security force, noting that the operation to arrest the terrorists was a qualitative operation carried out under difficult conditions.
Al-Faraya added, during a press conference, that the arrest of the perpetrators does not mean the end of the work, stressing that the state is proceeding with completing the investigations, uncovering all the circumstances of the crime, and holding accountable everyone proven to be involved in planning, incitement, assistance, or facilitation, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
He said that the state will not allow any person involved to escape legal accountability.
Al-Faraya mourned the martyrs of the attack, offering his condolences to their families and relatives, His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the Jordanian people, saying: “We stand more reassured that the hand of justice has reached the perpetrators of this heinous terrorist crime, and that the blood of our martyrs will not have been shed in vain.”
He pointed out that His Majesty the King pledged, during his visit to the injured at the hospital, to deal firmly with the perpetrators of this act and hold all those involved accountable, adding that the success of the security operation confirms that His Majesty’s directives are translated into actions on the ground, and that the Jordanian state does not tolerate any compromise in protecting the lives of its citizens.
