Public Security Director: We Seized a Number of Weapons and a Large Quantity of Ammunition from the Terrorists

Al-Taj News – Public Security Director Major General Obaidullah Al-Maaytah said on Monday that a number of weapons and a large quantity of ammunition were seized from the three terrorists after clashing with them.

Al-Maaytah explained, during a press conference, that the raiding teams continued sweeping the designated areas continuously over the past three days, until, after midnight on Sunday, one of the villages was divided into sectors and a number of abandoned houses in it were identified, in preparation for their inspection and sweeping by the specialized teams.

He added that a wide geographical area was identified, including a number of villages, in addition to mountainous areas and rugged valleys, and the necessary measures were taken to isolate the area and secure its surroundings by establishing closure points, conducting patrols, and using drones, ensuring that the terrorists were surrounded.

He continued that the operation resulted in taking control of the building and arresting the three terrorists, all of whom were injured. They were transferred to the hospital and remain under treatment, with investigations with them to begin.
