Al-Taj News –
Egyptian director Rami Imam has revealed plans for a documentary film about the life of his father, actor Adel Imam, and his artistic career spanning nearly six decades. The project is still in its early stages, after years of the Egyptian actor, nicknamed “The Leader,” staying away from the screen.
In statements to “Youm7 TV” on the sidelines of the El Gouna Film Festival, Rami Imam said that the team had begun the initial preparations and writing for the project, with the aim of documenting the most prominent milestones in his father’s life and his contributions to cinema, theater, and television.
He explained that the idea for the documentary is still under consideration and that producing it requires a long time to gather information and details related to Adel Imam’s life and artistic career. He noted that no final decision has been made regarding the production of the film so far.
Rami Imam affirmed his desire to present a work documenting his father’s artistic legacy, as he is considered one of the most prominent stars of Egyptian and Arab cinema, following a career spanning decades and encompassing cinematic, theatrical, and television productions.
