Trump: Iran Is the World’s Leading State Sponsor of Terrorism

Al-Taj News – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon, describing Iran as “the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.”

Trump added, in remarks that coincided with the commemoration of the September 11 attacks, that the United States continues to fight terrorism, saying that “we have no choice but to confront it.”

Trump said that, after the “September 11 test,” the United States is today undergoing a new test, adding: “We have proven our success in it.”

He noted that “we cannot forget the moment of evil on September 11,” adding that the United States is today discovering “the identity of our country,” and that it must be “strong and smart.”

Trump affirmed that the United States will never forget what happened in the September 11 attacks, saying: “We are fighting today in fulfillment of this oath.”

Trump renewed his affirmation of his position on Iran’s nuclear program, saying: “We will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon.”
