Al-Taj News – Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief Iranian negotiator Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said Sunday that any future attacks targeting Iran’s security or interests would be met with a faster, harsher and more painful response.
Qalibaf added that the United States had certainly realized that the era of proportional responses “has ended.”
He pointed out that the United States must realize, before it is too late, that “the rules of the game have changed.”
He said new alternatives must be found to confront the economic pressures imposed by the enemy on supply chains.
The commander of Iran’s Border Guard Forces said his forces are ready to confront any threat or aggression, stressing that they will not allow the slightest violation of the borders.
Reciprocal strikes between the United States and Iran targeting ships and oil tankers have escalated, with around 10 targets hit in a single day, in a development that could signal the beginning of a new phase of the conflict.
