Al-Taj News – The Board of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate decided to extend the suspension period for membership cancellations for members covered by the decision, out of concern for the interests of colleagues and in appreciation of the circumstances that prevented some members from paying their outstanding financial obligations within the previous deadline.
The Board explained that the extension of the suspension of the membership cancellation decision and the granting of a final exceptional grace period will remain in effect until the end of working hours on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
To benefit from this grace period, members must pay all outstanding financial amounts and regularize their union status within the specified period. The membership cancellation decision will be enforced against anyone who has not completed full payment after the deadline, in accordance with the law and the decisions of the Syndicate Board.
The Board affirmed that this extension comes out of concern for colleagues and to give them a final opportunity to retain their membership, while stressing the need to comply with the law, regulations, and union decisions, in pursuit of fairness and equality among all members and in preservation of the Syndicate’s rights and standing.
As the Board hopes that the concerned colleagues will take the initiative to pay the outstanding amounts within the specified deadline, it confirms that this grace period is exceptional and final, and that no further extension requests will be considered after September 30, 2026.
May God preserve the Jordanian Artists Syndicate as a unifying home for all creators and a patron of Jordanian art and its noble mission.
