Revolutionary Guard: America Will Regret Its New Attacks

Al-Taj News – Iranian media reported Tuesday that explosions were heard in several areas in southern and eastern Iran, coinciding with the announcement by the Iranian General Staff that it would launch powerful strikes against the United States in response to attacks targeting areas in Sistan and Baluchestan and Hormozgan.

The deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan said that four projectiles struck areas within the cities of Chabahar and Konarak in southeastern Iran.

Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that explosions were heard in the cities of Konarak and Chabahar in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Sirik in Hormozgan Province in southern Iran.

Tasnim News Agency also reported that eight explosions were heard along the southern coast of Qeshm Island in Hormozgan Province.

Iranian television said that five explosions were heard in the village of Masen on Qeshm Island, in addition to four explosions in the Strait of Hormuz.

In Bushehr Province in southern Iran, Iranian television reported that an explosion was heard in the city of Asaluyeh, while the Iranian News Agency said that explosions were heard in the city of Jask in Hormozgan Province.

For its part, Hormozgan Governorate said there were no injuries or attacks in the province, explaining that most of the sounds were caused by tensions in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

The spokesperson for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said that the United States “will regret” its new attacks.
