Minister of State for Legal Affairs Discusses Coordination Mechanisms and Decision-Making with Legal Officials in Government Institutions

Al-Taj News – A meeting was held at the Prime Ministry on Tuesday, chaired by Minister of State for Legal Affairs Dr. Fayyad Al-Qudah, to coordinate and consult with legal advisers and directors of legal departments and units in various government entities regarding the adoption of sound administrative decisions.

The meeting, attended by Head of the Administrative Public Prosecution, Judge Mohammad Al-Khasawneh, and Director of the Legal Department at the Prime Ministry Jaafar Al-Awamleh, brought together more than 70 legal specialists representing various government entities.

Minister Al-Qudah stressed the important role of legal specialists in providing sound legal advice while exercising legal powers and duties, ensuring that decisions are consistent with legal legitimacy.

He stressed that the heads of legal departments and units in ministries and government institutions bear the responsibility of ensuring that administrative decisions are directed and driven by the public interest and based on the provisions and rules of law, with the aim of managing public services in a manner that serves the public interest.

Al-Qudah called on directors of legal departments and units in ministries and government institutions to examine the provisions of the law and provide legal advice in accordance with those legal provisions.

The meeting included an extensive discussion of various administrative issues and ways to improve decision-making mechanisms and ensure their consistency with legislative provisions.

The meeting comes as part of periodic meetings held to discuss coordination and decision-making mechanisms across various departments, in line with the second executive program of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap for 2026–2029.
