Jordan and Qatar Affirm Their Support for Efforts to De-escalate and Enhance Stability in the Region

Al-Taj News – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held talks in Doha today that focused on bilateral relations and regional developments.

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen and support the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.

They also discussed regional developments, particularly the efforts being made to de-escalate tensions, restore calm, and enhance security and stability in the region.

Safadi and Sheikh Mohammed affirmed the full support of the Kingdom and Qatar for all efforts and endeavors aimed at reaching a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and leads to a comprehensive agreement that addresses all the causes of the crisis and achieves sustainable security and stability in the region.

The two ministers agreed to continue cooperation, coordination, and consultations on strengthening fraternal bilateral relations, regional developments, and issues of common interest.
