The King Follows Developments Related to the Investigations into the Terrorist Attack
Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II followed, on Thursday, the developments related to the investigations into the terrorist attack.
His Majesty the King had left the homeland, on Thursday, on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
The Deputy to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, visited the injured security officer who is lying in the recovery bed at the Medical City, after being subjected to an assault while dealing with a terrorist act in Amman.
His Royal Highness Prince Feisal expressed his wishes to the injured for a speedy recovery, and his condolences over the martyrdom of Corporal Jawad Al-Salaytah in the same attack.
His Highness affirmed that His Majesty the King is following the developments related to the investigations into the terrorist attack, expressing his condemnation of any act targeting the security and safety of Jordanians.
The Minister of Government Communication and official government spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, said on Thursday that initial investigations indicate that the attack targeting a Public Security officer in the capital is a “cowardly terrorist act.”
Al-Momani added that the Prime Minister is following up on the agencies’ handling of this act, stressing the necessity of swiftly uncovering its circumstances and motives, and taking the necessary legal measures against everyone involved.
