King Abdullah II Affirms Jordan’s Rejection of Continued Settlement Expansion and Escalating Settler Violence

Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed on Friday that there is an urgent need to intensify efforts to restore stability in the region, calling on the international community to step up its diplomatic efforts to prevent the conflict from expanding.

During joint press remarks with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel in Prague, His Majesty expressed Jordan’s rejection of continued settlement expansion, escalating settler violence, forced displacement, and attempts to impose a new reality, which collectively pose a direct threat to regional security.

He stressed that Jordan continues to emphasize the importance of dialogue and respect for international law, and supports all efforts to achieve peace and stability.

His Majesty the King affirmed that Jordan continues to take all necessary measures to protect its security and sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
