Jordan Condemns Houthi Targeting of Civilian and Economic Sites in Saudi Arabia

Al-Taj News – Jordan on Tuesday condemned the Houthi militia’s targeting of civilian and economic sites in the areas of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in a number of civilians being injured.

Jordan also condemned the Houthi militia’s continued targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea, considering this a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity, and a blatant breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, in addition to threatening the security and safety of maritime navigation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in a statement, affirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for it in all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
