Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Discusses Strengthening Defense Cooperation with French Military Delegation

Al-Taj News – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Staff Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasis, on Sunday discussed with a French military delegation headed by Brigadier General Yannick Bousso ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Jordanian and French armed forces in military and defense fields of mutual interest.

This came during Major General Staff Al-Harasis’s reception of the French delegation at his office at the General Command, where the meeting addressed mechanisms for developing military cooperation, exchanging expertise, and coordinating joint efforts in a manner that enhances the two countries’ capabilities to address common security challenges.

Major General Staff Al-Harasis stressed the importance of expanding the frameworks of military cooperation and coordinating international efforts to confront challenges that threaten security and stability, emphasizing the depth of the relations between the Jordanian Armed Forces and their French counterparts.

For his part, Brigadier General Yannick Bousso praised the role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in supporting the security and stability of the region, stressing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the two sides.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the French defense attaché in Amman.
