Al-Momani: Arab Media Is an Essential Part of the National Security and Stability System

Al-Taj News – Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani affirmed that Arab and national media outlets constitute an essential part of the national security and stability system in Arab countries, playing a pivotal role in shaping awareness and public opinion and defending just Arab causes, amid the information chaos and flow of fake news witnessed around the world.

Al-Momani made the remarks during his reception today, Wednesday, of a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA). He emphasized the depth of fraternal relations and longstanding cooperation at various levels with brotherly countries, commending the efforts made by the Federation’s General Secretariat and Arab news agencies in presenting the truth professionally.

Al-Momani affirmed that the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies assumes the responsibility of developing the efforts of official media agencies to provide advanced content for Arab citizens, pointing to the importance of strengthening the presence of official news agencies in delivering media discourse to local, Arab, and international public opinion in a balanced and influential manner.

He stressed that national and official media outlets’ role is not limited to the news and professional dimensions, but rather constitutes an integral part of the system for defending the interests of the nation and its just causes, and confronting malicious attempts to undermine the positions of Arab countries and their right to safeguard their security and stability and build their economies.
