King to Al-Harasais: Strengthen the Arab Army’s Capabilities and Develop Its Tools to Address Challenges
Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, addressed a letter to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Staff Majdi Al-Harasais, emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and strengthening its capabilities and readiness to confront challenges and threats.
In his letter, His Majesty expressed his appreciation and pride in the personnel of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, praising the examples of courage, chivalry, and loyalty they demonstrate, as well as their role in protecting Jordanian territory and airspace and confronting any threat targeting the nation’s capabilities and the security and safety of citizens.
His Majesty noted that Major General Staff Majdi Al-Harasais had become known during his service in the Armed Forces as a devoted soldier serving his homeland and an outstanding officer in the Arab Army, affirming that, following the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he entrusts him with the responsibility of serving Jordan and carrying out this trust with utmost care and dedication.
His Majesty directed the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to keep the nation foremost in his mind, exert every effort to serve Jordan and its people, preserve the reputation and prestige of the Armed Forces, and continue strengthening its capabilities so that it remains the nation’s protective shield and steadfast defense.
His Majesty also directed him to follow up on efforts to restructure the Armed Forces, develop the capabilities of the Arab Army, and modernize its tools, enabling it to fulfill its responsibilities and confront emerging challenges, developments, and threats with the highest levels of efficiency and readiness.
His Majesty stressed the need to provide the Nashama men and women of the Armed Forces with the utmost attention and care, empower them and build their capabilities, including officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel, and ensure the highest levels of performance and professionalism, affirming that they are always the subject of his trust, pride, and esteem.
At the conclusion of his letter, His Majesty King Abdullah asked Almighty Allah to assist Major General Staff Majdi Al-Harasais in shouldering the responsibility and grant him success in achieving what is best for the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, affirming his support and backing.
