
Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II followed up today, Tuesday, on the progress of the government’s work under the second executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision during the first half of the current year.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan and concerned officials, His Majesty was briefed on the most prominent projects of the Vision completed across several sectors, including healthcare, transport and logistics services, education, and industry.
His Majesty called for attracting more investments and priority projects, particularly export-oriented investments and public-private partnership projects, stressing the importance of domestic and foreign investment as a pillar for achieving the Vision’s targets.
His Majesty highlighted the importance of maintaining communication with participants in the workshops held to review what was accomplished during the first phase of the Economic Modernization Vision and to reach recommendations and priorities for the second phase.
In the same context, His Majesty stressed the need to maintain effective communication with citizens regarding the Vision’s implementation plans, the achievements made, and the challenges it faces.
His Majesty directed the government to focus its efforts and the Vision’s projects on tangibly and sustainably improving citizens’ quality of life.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh and Director of the Office of His Majesty the King, Eng. Alaa Al-Batayneh.
