Al-Safadi and His Bahraini Counterpart Discuss Regional Developments in a Phone Call

Al-Taj News – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Monday from Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

The two ministers discussed the strong fraternal relations between the two kingdoms, ways to strengthen and advance them, and continuing to build on the progress achieved in them in service of the two countries’ common interests.

Al-Safadi and Al-Zayani discussed regional developments, the repercussions of the escalation in the region, and efforts aimed at restoring calm and enhancing security and stability.

Al-Safadi and Al-Zayani condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan.

Al-Zayani affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Jordan in all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, and the safety of its citizens.

The two ministers also discussed a number of issues of common interest and prospects for cooperation and coordination to preserve regional security and stability and enhance joint Arab cooperation.
