Professional Associations to Raise the Jordanian Flag on a 20-Meter-High Flagpole

Al-Taj News – Jordanian professional associations will hold a ceremony on Monday at 5 p.m., under the patronage of the Prime Minister, to raise the Jordanian flag on a 20-meter-high flagpole erected in the courtyard of the Professional Associations Complex in Al-Shmeisani.

Head of the Council of Professional Associations and President of the Jordan Medical Association, Issa Ali Al-Khashashneh, said that raising the Jordanian flag at the heart of the Professional Associations Complex reaffirms the national identity of this landmark and embodies the sovereignty of the Jordanian state and the unity of its people.

He added: “Our associations are diverse, and our views vary, but our identity is Jordanian, our flag is one, and the sovereignty of our homeland is steadfast and inviolable. We all come together around Jordan and its higher interests, and we believe that what unites us in this homeland is greater than any differences.”

He affirmed that the professional associations will remain an integral part of the state’s journey, and a national partner in building the state, safeguarding its unity, and serving its people.
