Gold prices in the local market rose by half a dinar per gram on Monday, according to the daily pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price of 21-karat gold, the most sought-after among Jordanians, reached JD 89.60 per gram at jewelry shops, while the buying price stood at JD 85.60 per gram.
The selling price per gram of 24-karat and 18-karat gold for purchases from jewelry shops stood at JD 102.70 and JD 79.30, respectively.
