Washington Signals Sanctions on Iranian Bank This Week

Al-Taj News – U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Tuesday that the United States is likely to announce sanctions on a bank this week as part of the economic campaign against Iran.

Bessent added: “We are likely to announce sanctions on a bank this week, and we will announce sanctions on another (bank) the following week. We are talking to our allies here, who have all expressed their willingness, and we have received significant support.”
