Al-Taj News – Official sources revealed on Saturday the global pricing of petroleum derivatives for August 2026, explaining the actual costs borne by the government, represented by the relevant authorities, compared with the actual selling prices offered to citizens in the local market. The figures show that the Treasury is providing direct financial support for a number of basic petroleum products.

The sources said that the actual cost to the government of 90-octane gasoline is 1.069 dinars per liter, while its selling price to citizens is 1.000 dinar.
