Al-Taj News – The Lebanese artist returning to the music scene, Fadel Shaker, inaugurated the second Al-Khobar Season in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a noteworthy Saudi experience following the success of the Riyadh Season over past years, extending the map of artistic, sporting, and cultural events to reach the coast of Al-Khobar.
The second Al-Khobar Season includes more than 40 artistic, cultural, and sporting events held across ten locations throughout the city, drawing tens of thousands of Saudis, Arabs, and tourists from various countries worldwide, in the context of the Kingdom’s promotional campaign bearing the slogan “Spirit of Saudi Arabia.”
The concert, in which the artist’s son, Mohamed Fadel Shaker, participated, featured several of his father’s songs alongside his own tracks, drawing enthusiastic engagement from the audience in attendance.
Following anticipation and excitement, Fadel Shaker appeared before his audience, who welcomed him with great warmth, to perform the first song from his latest album, “Ila Wana Ma’ak” (Except When I’m With You). He then moved into harmonious sync with his audience, who sang along to all his old and new songs, asking him for more. During this concert, Shaker went beyond the scheduled artistic program, delighting the crowd with Warda Al-Jazairia’s song “Akdeb Alek” (Shall I Lie to You?), before returning to his fans alongside his son Mohamed to perform the widely popular hit “Kifek A Fraqi” (How Are You After Our Parting?), followed by “Allah A’lam En Kont Bahlam” (God Knows If I Am Dreaming).
