In tears .. Walid Toufic mourns Hany Shaker during the Arab Music Festival

Al-Taj News – The Lebanese artist Walid Toufic sent a message to the singers of the new generation, calling on them to support young talents and owners of good voices, while rejecting the encouragement of songs that contain debased or hurtful lyrics, during his concert within the activities of the 34th edition of the Arab Music Festival and Conference.

Toufic emphasized the importance of granting youth their opportunity in singing, recalling the support that artists received in their beginnings, and said on stage: “We must encourage young people who have beautiful voices, just as we were encouraged, but we should not encourage debased or hurtful words.”

The Lebanese artist criticized the way social media platforms are used, noting that they are a good tool, but some do not utilize them properly, adding: “Social media is nice, but unfortunately we use it wrong,” expressing his happiness with the presence of people who still appreciate the value of art.
