Al-Taj News – Fadel Shaker is preparing to perform his first concert after officially returning to the music scene as part of Riyadh Season events in the Saudi capital, in what will be his first appearance on stage after an absence of around 13 years. Preparations for the concert come as the Lebanese singer spends a recovery period in Doha, following a heart catheterization procedure he underwent around two weeks ago.
Exclusive information obtained by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed confirms that negotiations to hold the concert in Riyadh have reached an advanced stage and that it is being sponsored by the General Entertainment Authority, marking the beginning of a new phase in Fadel Shaker’s career following his release from detention by a decision of Lebanon’s Military Court and the postponement of several cases that remain pending.
In Doha, Fadel Shaker is currently undergoing a recovery period under the supervision of doctors who have been monitoring his health, amid assurances that his condition is continuously improving. The information indicates that he does not intend to return to Lebanon in the near future. He has also switched off his personal phone and distanced himself from communicating with a number of people close to him in Beirut, based on medical recommendations.
According to people close to him, Shaker is seeking to turn a new page in his life, both artistically and on the family level, including supporting his son, Mohammad Shaker, in his singing career.
