Hani Al-Mulki: The Arab Nation-State Is in Danger .. And Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia Are Capable of Leading a New Path

Al-Taj News – Former Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Hani Al-Mulki warned of the decline in the Arab situation and the increase in regional interventions in the affairs of Arab countries, confirming that the Arab nation-state has become in danger, and that the continuation of division and weakness necessitates the adoption of a new approach to rebuild joint Arab action.

Al-Mulki said, in an interview on the program “The Session Is Closed” with the media figure and journalist Samir Omar on the screen of “Al-Qahera News”, that regional parties are exploiting Arab vulnerabilities and priorities to advance their agendas, pointing out that the Palestinian cause, which represents the central cause for the Arabs, has come to be presented and defended by regional parties as their own cause, a matter that reflects the retreat of the Arab stance.

He added that Arab conditions have witnessed a deterioration over the past twenty-five years, in light of the disintegration of Libya and Sudan, the Yemeni crisis, and the risks facing Somalia along with the possibilities of its division into two or more states, which calls for moving toward a new approach that begins with strengthening the Arab nation-state and addressing internal crises.
