The King receives the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar

Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II received, on Wednesday, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Sheikh Mohammed conveyed to His Majesty the King the condolences of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, over the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted a church in Karak Governorate, and His Highness’s wishes for a speedy and full recovery for the injured.

During the meeting, His Majesty the King affirmed the solid brotherly relations established between Jordan and the State of Qatar, pointing to the importance of continuing to enhance cooperation between them in various fields.

The meeting addressed overall developments in the region, as His Majesty stressed the necessity of reaching a comprehensive de-escalation that ensures the security of Arab states and restores stability to their peoples.
The meeting also discussed developments in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as His Majesty the King warned of the danger of continued unilateral Israeli measures against the Palestinians.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
