Al-Taj News – The official spokesperson for the Greater Amman Municipality, Muath Al-Hadid, announced that the municipality has floated tenders worth 10 million dinars to implement projects aimed at addressing locations experiencing rainwater drainage issues, by increasing the capacity of existing culverts and constructing new culverts, as part of its preparations for the rainy season and enhancing its capacity to deal with weather depressions.
Al-Hadid said, in radio statements, that at the end of the last rainy season, the municipality identified a number of locations that require engineering interventions, in light of urban expansion and the increase in population and buildings, noting that the works include locations in North Amman and other areas, including Dahiyat Al-Amin Al-Rashed and the area behind the market in Wadi Al-Tay.
