Trump: Immigrants Have Taken Over France

Al-Taj News – US President Donald Trump said on Monday that “immigrants have taken over France.”

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote, “Immigrants have taken over France,” renewing his call to “close the borders quickly.”

Trump had called on France to close its borders and tighten control over them, commenting on the demonstrations taking place in the country. He considered that immigration had “torn” the country apart, a day after widespread protests marked by acts of violence.

Demonstrations that swept across France turned into riots on Saturday, as a municipal building was set on fire, shops were looted, building walls were covered with drawings and graffiti, and violent groups clashed with police in cities across the country.

One protester died after suffering a cardiac arrest during demonstrations in Paris, where police recorded an unprecedented number of arrests, reaching 855.
