Lavrov: Russia Is Ready to Find an Acceptable Solution to the Iran Crisis

Al-Taj News – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Monday that his country is ready to find an acceptable solution to end the prolonged crisis between Washington and Tehran.

Lavrov said at a press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, that he had held “good talks” in Tehran during his first visit since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran last February.

Lavrov called on the conflicting parties to return to the negotiating table.

The Russian foreign minister rejected “unilateral measures” by some countries, calling for the need to ensure security in the Strait of Hormuz.
