Vance Hints at a “Completely Different Phase” in the Iran War

Al-Taj News – U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said the war with Iran will enter a “completely different phase within two months,” agreeing with President Donald Trump that the conflict could end immediately after the congressional midterm elections.

Vance added, in an interview with the New York Post conducted aboard the presidential aircraft Air Force Two, that Iran will continue to lose its ability to control the Strait of Hormuz until the elections, noting that maritime traffic through the strait has returned to more than 50% of its normal levels.

He explained that the United States is not currently engaged in offensive operations, and that what is happening involves the Iranians firing at commercial vessels from time to time, noting that these attacks usually fail.
