Netanyahu: Don’t Test Us .. We Hope the Year Ends “With Its Curses”

Al-Taj News – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that his government is “determined” to bring down the Iranian regime, considering its end to be “near,” and affirming that Israel will continue to defend itself and strike its enemies.

Netanyahu said during a toast marking the Jewish New Year at a government meeting that the Iranian regime is “weak, fighting for its life, and stumbling,” adding, “There is another mission that must be completed, and we are determined to accomplish it,” referring to bringing down the regime in Tehran.

He added that Israel, in cooperation with the United States, had achieved “tremendous successes” in confronting what he described as the Iranian existential threat, pointing to strikes against the nuclear program, ballistic missiles and the “Iranian axis.”

Netanyahu said Iran is “refraining” from attacking Israel because it knows what the response would be, warning that Tehran “will receive a blow it cannot even imagine” if it attacks Israel.

Addressing Israel’s enemies, he added, “Don’t test us,” praising the resilience of Israelis and his country’s military capabilities.

Netanyahu pointed to the continuation of Israeli military operations in Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, saying Israel had achieved “tremendous accomplishments,” but “there is still more to complete.”

He said that bringing down the Iranian regime “will permanently change the face of the Middle East and the history of our people,” affirming that his government is determined and capable of achieving this.

Netanyahu concluded his remarks by extending greetings on the occasion of the Jewish New Year, wishing that the year would end “with its curses” and that a new year would begin “with its blessings.”
