Al-Taj News – England international striker Harry Kane helped Bayern Munich come from a goal down to defeat hosts Osnabrück of the second division 4-1 on Wednesday, opening their campaign to defend their German Cup title.
Kane scored his brace in the 18th and 86th minutes from a penalty, while Tom Bischof (24) and Frenchman Michael Olise (73) added the other two goals for the Bavarian club, which responded strongly after falling behind early to a superb strike by the home side’s Robin Meisner (5).
The England star has now scored 148 goals in 150 matches in all competitions for Bayern Munich, whom he joined from his boyhood club Tottenham in 2023.
