Al-Taj News – US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he will respect the results of the midterm elections scheduled for November 3, “if it’s a fair election,” in a renewed hint at undocumented allegations of fraud.
Trump explained, in remarks made while heading to the state of Texas to participate in a campaign rally, that he will work with Democrats if Republicans lose their control of Congress, but he warned at the same time that he possesses, in his capacity as president, a “strong” veto power over bills.
A four-day poll showed that about 31% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance in office, a drop of one percentage point compared to the previous two weeks, marking the lowest level during his two presidential terms.
