Youth National Team Loses to Tajikistan in Asian Qualifiers

Al-Taj News – The Jordan U-20 national football team lost 1-0 to Tajikistan in a match played Sunday evening at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Bahrain in the third and final round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

The identity of the team that will qualify is expected to be decided after the conclusion of the Bahrain-Afghanistan match, which is also being played this evening.

Under the tournament system, 32 teams are participating in the qualifiers, divided into eight groups of four teams each. The group winners, along with the seven best second-placed teams, will qualify, while the team finishing last in each group will drop to the development stage in the next edition.
