Barcelona Thrash Rayo Vallecano 5-2 in La Liga

Al-Taj News – Barcelona secured a commanding 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano in the match between the two teams at Spotify Camp Nou, as part of the third round of the Spanish Football League.

Rayo Vallecano took the lead through Sergio Camello in the 12th minute, before Barcelona equalized through Raphinha from a penalty in the 19th minute. Lamine Yamal then added the second goal in the 21st minute.

In the second half, Barcelona extended their lead with an own goal scored by Florian Lejeune in the 51st minute, before Rayo Vallecano reduced the deficit through Sergio Camello in the 59th minute.

Raphinha returned to score his second personal goal and Barcelona’s fourth in the 71st minute, while Lamine scored his second goal and Barcelona’s fifth in the 90th minute, confirming his team’s victory and securing the three points.

With this result, Barcelona raised their tally to 9 points at the top of the standings, while Rayo Vallecano remained on one point in 18th place.
