Army: Foiling Attempt by 4 People to Infiltrate Through the Northern Border

Al-Taj News – The Northern Military Region foiled, on Saturday evening, an attempt by four people to infiltrate through one of the border fronts, after Border Guard forces detected them while they were attempting to cross the border illegally.

The forces immediately dealt with the situation in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement and managed to arrest the infiltrators without allowing them to cross the border, referring them to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.

The Jordan Armed Forces affirmed that Border Guard units continue to perform their duty with full vigilance and firmness, within the framework of their responsibility to protect the Kingdom’s borders and safeguard its sovereignty, and to confront any attempts at infiltration or illegal activities that may threaten the country’s security and stability.
