Effective Saturday .. Extension of Working Hours at “Labor” Offices and Directorates Until 5 PM

Al-Taj News – Minister of Transport and Minister of Labor Nidal Al-Qatamin decided to extend the official working hours at labor offices and directorates, effective Saturday, September 12, 2026, until Wednesday, September 30, to continue from Saturday through Thursday until 5 PM.

The ministry said the decision aims to allow employers and heads of households to benefit from the remaining period to rectify the status of non-Jordanian workers in violation of regulations under their employment, including domestic workers.

The ministry affirmed that the status-rectification period will not be extended and that there will be no change to the financial exemptions specified under the Cabinet’s decision in this regard.
