Under Royal Directives, Royal Jordanian Air Force Evacuates 11 Jordanian Citizens Injured in Traffic Accident in Egypt

Al-Taj News – Under royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Al-Harashees on Monday instructed the Royal Jordanian Air Force, in coordination with the Royal Medical Services, to send an aircraft equipped with a specialized medical team to evacuate 11 Jordanian citizens who were injured in a traffic accident in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force Medical Corps said: “The injured received the necessary medical care in Egypt,” noting that their conditions ranged from moderate to serious, with 8 moderate injuries and 3 serious injuries.

He added that the injured will be transferred to Al-Hussein Medical City in the Kingdom to complete their treatment and receive specialized medical care according to their health conditions.

The medical evacuation comes under royal directives as part of the concern for the safety of Jordanian citizens and standing by them under various circumstances, and mobilizing the capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army to serve them wherever they may be.

The families of the injured expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, praising the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces in following up on the conditions of citizens and providing them with support and care, particularly in emergency situations.

This measure underscores the humanitarian and national role undertaken by the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, and its continued commitment to providing support and assistance to Jordanian citizens and strengthening the medical care and evacuation system when needed.
