Royal Decrees Promote Al-Hunaiti to the Rank of Lieutenant General and Retire Him

Al-Taj News – Two Royal Decrees have been issued promoting Major General Staff Yusef Ahmad Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to the rank of Lieutenant General and referring him to retirement, effective September 2, 2026.

A Royal Decree was also issued appointing Major General Staff Majdi Mohammad Hammad Al-Harasais as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, effective September 2, 2026.

A Royal Decree had previously been issued promoting Brigadier General Staff Majdi Mohammad Hammad Al-Harasais to the rank of Major General, effective September 2, 2026.
