Temperatures to Drop on Saturday with Chances of Rain Showers on Sunday

Al-Taj News – Temperatures will drop slightly on Saturday, with mild summer weather prevailing in most areas and hot conditions in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds appearing over the northern parts of the Kingdom, according to the Meteorological Department.

Winds will be moderate westerly, becoming active at intervals and occasionally stirring dust, particularly in the Badia areas.

During the night, the Kingdom will be affected by a weak atmospheric instability, with increasing cloud cover at various altitudes. The weather will be mild in the mountainous highlands and moderate in the rest of the areas, with a chance of light rain showers in the northern parts of the Kingdom during the late-night hours.

High and low temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 33°C and 21°C, in western Amman between 31°C and 19°C, in the northern highlands between 28°C and 16°C, in the Sharah highlands between 29°C and 14°C, in the Badia areas between 37°C and 18°C, in the plains between 32°C and 17°C, in the northern Jordan Valley between 39°C and 23°C, in the southern Jordan Valley between 41°C and 24°C, in the Dead Sea between 40°C and 23°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba between 41°C and 24°C.

According to the Meteorological Department’s report, temperatures will drop further on Sunday. The weather will be partly cloudy and moderate in most areas, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

There will be a chance of rain showers in the morning in the northern parts of the Kingdom and parts of the western central areas, which may be accompanied by thunder at times in the north. Winds will be moderate westerly, becoming active from time to time and occasionally stirring dust, particularly in the Badia areas.

On Monday, temperatures will rise slightly. The weather will be mild summer weather in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds appearing over the northern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally becoming active.

On Tuesday, temperatures will rise further. The weather will be mild summer weather in most areas and hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northeasterly to northwesterly, occasionally becoming active.
