Al-Taj News – Al-Faisaly and Al-Hussein will meet at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Amman International Stadium in the final of the Jordanian Super Cup for the 2026/2027 season. The match will be officiated by referee Adham Al-Makhadmeh.

The refereeing team includes assistants Mohammad Al-Bakkar and Saberine Al-Abbadi, while Lebanese referee Wael Haidar will serve as the fourth official, and Hamza Abu Obeid as the reserve assistant referee. Egyptians Mohammad Al-Ghazi and Ahmad Tawfiq Talab will oversee the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.

Al-Faisaly head coach Tarek Mustafa confirmed Thursday that his team is ready for the Jordanian Super Cup final, expressing his hope of fulfilling the aspirations of the club’s fans.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Mustafa said the team will be without Hossam Abu Al-Dhahab and Wasim Al-Riyalat due to injury, in addition to Muhannad Khairallah due to suspension. He noted that the coaching staff has the options needed to compensate for the absences.

For his part, Al-Hussein head coach Ahmad Hayel said his team had completed its preparations for the Super Cup final in good shape and is now adequately prepared for the match, despite having some injuries.

Hayel explained that the absences are limited to injured players, while the rest of the squad will be available for the match, expressing his confidence in the players’ ability to perform at the required level in the final.

He noted that Al-Hussein has an impressive record in domestic competitions, having avoided defeat in the league, cup, and Super Cup, explaining that match results are not always determined by logic, but rather by what the players deliver during the game.

Al-Faisaly secured its place in the final after defeating Al-Wehdat 2-1, while Al-Hussein advanced to the final after defeating Al-Ramtha 5-0.
