Most Notably Carpets: Al-Hayajneh Calls on Traders to Boycott Iranian Products

Al-Taj News – Former Member of Parliament and former President of the Furniture Traders and Producers Association Sharaf Al-Hayajneh called on those working in the commercial sector, as well as carpet traders and traders of various materials and commercial products, to boycott Iranian products, against the backdrop of what he described as “Iranian aggression” and threats targeting the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Al-Hayajneh, who launched this national initiative, said that the commercial sector represents “the lifeline of the economy and the backbone of the home front,” stressing that traders are capable of coordinating a unified national effort. He called for boycotting Iranian products of all types and categories and continuing the boycott “until the aggression stops.”

Al-Hayajneh, who is considered one of the prominent importers of Iranian carpets, stressed that his call stems from what he described as national and moral responsibility, pointing to the importance of the cohesion of the commercial sector in confronting what he considered threats to the Kingdom’s security and resources.

He called on carpet traders and traders of various commercial materials and products to adhere to the boycott, stressing that what he described as the “solidarity” of the commercial sector represents a factor in protecting the home front and the national economy.

Al-Hayajneh, who previously served as a member of the House of Representatives, as well as President of the Furniture Traders and Producers Association and a member of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, affirmed that he and all traders stand alongside Jordan, its Hashemite leadership, and the Jordanian Armed Forces, wishing the Kingdom continued security and stability under His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
