Al-Taj News – President of the Audit Bureau, Dr. Radi Al-Hamadeen, said that the overall response rate to audit findings rose from 35% in 2021 to 71% in 2025, an increase of 36 percentage points, exceeding twice its level at the beginning of the period and recording the highest level in the Kingdom’s history, according to the approved data for the indicator.
Al-Hamadeen explained that the response rate stood at 35% in 2021, declined to 21% in 2022, before rising to 48% in 2023, then 59% in 2024, reaching 71% in 2025.
He stated that the response rate reflects the extent to which entities subject to audit interact with the observations and recommendations included in audit findings, and the measures taken in this regard, allowing the level of responsiveness to be monitored and progress in addressing observations to be tracked.
He pointed out that enhancing responsiveness is linked to the Bureau’s efforts to develop its audit tools and work methodologies, in addition to the responsiveness of entities subject to audit to observations and recommendations and the taking of necessary measures to address them.
