Al-Taj News – Health Minister Ibrahim Al-Badour said that a team from the Maintenance and Services Directorate will visit Al-Hashmi Al-Shamali Comprehensive Health Center on Tuesday to assess its maintenance and equipment needs and determine the necessary measures, in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan during his inspection tour of the center on Monday.
Al-Badour explained that the team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the center, and work will begin on addressing the needs it identifies starting Tuesday.
He indicated that the center, which was established around 1995, serves approximately 120,000 people and receives around 15,000 visitors monthly, in an area experiencing high population density in eastern Amman.
He noted that the center provides its services well, while the ministry is working to develop its equipment and medical specialties, explaining that maintenance work is carried out continuously according to an assessment of needs, which include infrastructure, water, bathrooms, painting, and other facilities.
Al-Badour stressed that infrastructure development must be accompanied by improving the quality of medical services and providing qualified personnel, training, and the necessary technical expertise.
