Will Riyadh Season End Fadel Shaker’s Disputes with Fellow Stars?

Al-Taj News – The announcement of the return of Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker to public concerts through Riyadh Season, after an absence spanning 14 years, brought back memories of his last public appearance in 2012 and the notable artistic reconciliation that took place during that concert, opening the door to questions about the possibility of repeating the scene with other names with whom he had disagreements over the past years.

Shaker had performed his last public concert as part of the “Mawazine” Festival in Morocco, where the stage witnessed the end of his dispute with Lebanese artist Yara after mediation by the festival’s management, with the latter taking to the stage and sharing a song with him in front of the audience.

As his anticipated concert in Riyadh approaches, users on social media recalled that moment and raised questions about the possibility that his return could witness similar surprises, particularly in light of his previous disputes with Ragheb Alama and Ramy Ayach.

An Old Dispute with Ragheb Alama

One of the most prominent episodes in the dispute between Shaker and Alama dates back to previous statements by the latter in which he called on Fadel Shaker to turn himself in to the Lebanese authorities, considering recourse to the judiciary to be the way to address his legal situation.

Alama later affirmed that he holds love and appreciation for Fadel Shaker on both the artistic and human levels, but declined to express a position on the cases and accusations that had been associated with him, stressing that the Lebanese judiciary is the authority authorized to deal with them.

In contrast, Mohamed Fadel Shaker had previously addressed a message to Ragheb Alama, accusing him of attacking his father and family through the media over the years, affirming that they had avoided responding to him, and that he personally continued to perform Alama’s songs during his concerts as an expression that he held no grudge against him.

Ramy Ayach Clarifies His Position

As for the dispute with Ramy Ayach, it has recently returned to circulation amid questions about the possibility of reconciliation between the two sides.

Ayach confirmed that there had been no communication between them so far, pointing out that he still considers himself the party who was subjected to an “unjustified attack,” as he described it.
