$40,000 Unpaid… New Crisis Faces Ahmed Saad

Al-Taj News – Security authorities in Cairo Governorate began examining a complaint filed by a graphic designer and visual effects specialist against Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad, accusing the latter of defrauding him of a sum of $40,000.

The incident began when a graphic designer filed an official report against artist Ahmed Saad at one of the police stations in Cairo Governorate, alleging that the latter had not paid him his financial dues amounting to $40,000, in return for some technical work he designed for the Egyptian singer’s music videos.

The graphic designer stated in his complaint that he had collaborated with artist Ahmed Saad on a number of music videos recently filmed in one of the European countries, noting that the technical work he carried out and collaborated on with Ahmed Saad had required a great deal of time and effort.

He added that an agreement had been reached with Ahmed Saad for financial compensation of $130,000, in return for carrying out the graphics and visual effects for the artist’s music videos filmed recently.

He continued by saying that he received only $90,000, stressing that the agreement between them stipulated that he would receive his remaining financial dues after completing his work. However, the delay in payment and stalling prompted him to file an official report against him.
